Tyrrell residents invited to talk about health care

Tyrrell County residents, along with those in other eastern counties, are being asked to give their opinions in a health assessment survey.

The 2018 Eastern Region Community Health Assessment survey is open to any resident 18 years of age and older.

This assessment is being undertaken by a partnership of 33 counties, hospitals, health systems, and health departments in eastern North Carolina.

Survey results will allow these partners to better understand the health status and needs of the community they serve and use the knowledge gained to implement programs that will benefit the community.

“We can better understand community needs by gathering voices from the community,” said Will Broughton, survey coordinator. “This survey allows community members like you to tell us about what you feel are important issues for your community.”

It will take about 20 minutes to complete the 60-question survey. Answers will be kept confidential and anonymous.

If you have questions about this survey, please contact Will Broughton at will.broughton@foundationhli.org.

Please complete the survey by June 30, and feel free to invite friends, family members, and business or professional contacts to participate.
