Children’s free meals available at Tyrrell schools

The Child Nutrition Program at Tyrrell County Schools will be up and running this summer, providing meals free of charge to any child age 18 or younger. Dr. Will Hoffman, superintendent, announced June 1.

Breakfast will be served from 7:45 to 9 a.m. at Tyrrell Elementary and Columbia High/Middle schools.

Lunch will be served from 11:15 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at Tyrrell Elementary School and from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Columbia High/Middle School.

Summer meals will be served Monday through Friday, June 18-29, and Monday through Thursday, July 2-26, at both sites.
