James Timothy “Timmy” Mobley, age 58, a resident of Winterville, NC died Tuesday June 5, 2018 at his home.

A celebration of life service will be held from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Sunday June 17, 2018 at First Church of Christ in classroom 102 “Friendship.”

Timmy was born in Pitt County on August 26, 1959 to James Wright Mobley and Shirley Jean Crandell Mobley. He was a 1977 graduate of Plymouth High School. He was in charge of grounds maintenance at Brook Valley Country Club and enjoyed helping and spending time in the Brook Valley Community. Timmy was a hardworking man who loved, was devoted to his family and always put others before himself. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Survivors include his mother, Jean Mobley of Washington, two brothers, Kenneth Wayne Mobley of Newport News, VA, Victor Crandell Mobley of Greenville, one niece, Gracie Mobley, three nephews, Craig Mobley, Chris Mobley and Steven Mobley.

He is preceded in death by his father, James Wright Mobley.
