Michelle L. (McDaniel) Smith, age 48, peacefully passed away after a long term illness on July 7, 2018. Wife of Shawn L. Smith, Sr.; mother of Courtney Marks McDaniel and Shawn L. Smith, Jr.; stepmother of Andre McCamie, Sr.; daughter of Larry and Shirley McDaniel; grandmother of Lukas, AJ, Alex, Darnell, and Aubrey; also survived by a host of relatives and friends. Funeral is 11 a.m. Thursday, July 12, at Congo Funeral Home, 2317 N. Market St., Wilmington, Delaware; viewing, 9 10:45 a.m. only. Burial, Gracelawn Memorial Park.
