Velma was a member of the South Creek Missionary Baptist Church from early childhood and recently reconnected with members at their homecoming this past May. Velma always had a smile, a bubbly laugh and a joke to share with everyone, she never met a stranger. She will be sorely missed by her many friends and family members.
