James Clark Hook, 76, of 6117 Soundside Road, Columbia died on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Chesapeake Regional Health Center in Virginia.

Born in Neenah, Wisconsin on July 5, 1942, he was the son of the late Clark Theodore and Marion Fable Hook.  He was married to the former Celia Ann Hewett who survives.  He was a retired chemical engineer with Exxon Corporation.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Surviving in addition to his wife are five sons, James Clark Hook, Jr., Theodore Clark Hook, Marshall Hook, Carey Alexander Hook and Morgan Hook; a sister, Mary Kay Hook-Kohut; twelve grandchildren.
