The Tyrrell County Sheriff’s Office on July 31 arrested Marcus D. Williams, 33, of Salemburg, an inmate at Tyrrell Prison Work Farm at Columbia for possession of a controlled substance on prison premises, Sheriff Darryl Liverman reported.
Williams had K-2 which is a synthetic cannabinoid, the sheriff stated.
Williams is the 44th inmate at Tyrrell Prison Work Farm to be charged with possession of controlled substance since May 2017, Liverman said, nearly averaging one every 10 days.
