Tyrrell County 4-H was responsible for the Northeast District 4-H booth at the recent NC State Fair. The theme, Get Caught Up in Tyrrell County 4-H, featured crab pots and fishing poles to represent the environmental education in the local 4-H program. Each fish and crab named a life skill learned in 4-H. There were also 22 4-H Clovers hidden within the booth to represent the Northeast District’s 22 counties. The display earned second place for the 4-H State Fair Booths.
