After being closed for 66 days, traffic flowed again on North Road Street in Columbia on Dec. 7, following installation of a huge metal culvert in North Boundary Canal as a flood mitigation measure. Intermittent lane closures are expected until the roadway is resurfaced and a coffer dam removed from the canal.
