CHRISTMAS GIVING: The Chocowinity Fire Department Auxiliary made Christmas a lot brighter for some families this year. Using funds raised at the annual Christmas Expo, the Auxiliary was able to provide gifts to families in need from Chocowinity Primary School and Chocowinity Middle School. “Thanks to everyone in our community and surrounding areas that made this possible,” said Auxiliary President Pam Kuers. “We couldn’t do it without all of you. I am sure these presents put a smile on some faces on Christmas morning!” Pictured with the gifts purchased for families in need are, left to right, Auxiliary members Mary Hodges, Margaret Pendley, Tonya Avery, Michelle Dixon, Pam Kuers, Melissa Moore and Crystal Jones.
