Lauren Nelson, 4-H Extension Agent in Tyrrell County, has announced the schedule for upcoming meetings of two 4-H Clubs.

The Scuppernong Sprouts 4-H SPIN Club, for ages 5-7, will meet 3:45-4:45 p.m. each Wednesday starting February 13 at the Extension Office, 407 Martha Street in Columbia.

“This club is to help our Cloverbuds learn about 4-H and everything it has to offer them as they grow in our community,” Nelson explained. “This is the same club that was offered in the fall. Space is limited, please contact the office to sign up, 252-796-1581.”

The Lab Rats 4-H SPIN Club, for ages 8-12, will meet 3:45-4:45 p.m. each Thursday beginning February 7 at the Extension Office.

“We will do a new science experiment each week focusing on each aspect of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math),” Nelson said. “Please contact the office to sign up, 252-796-1581.”
