Merle Rice Montague, Jr., 93, of Windsor, died Jan. 31, 2019, at Vidant Roanoke Chowan Hospital in Ahoskie. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2019, at Edgewood Cemetery followed by a reception at Windsor United Methodist Church and visitation at the home. Arrangements are by Walker Funeral Home.
