Annual Valentine Dinner for Veterans

About 50 armed forces veterans and guests attended American Legion Post 182’s annual Valentine Dinner at Norman Smith Legion Beach near Columbia Feb. 11. The menu featured ribeye steak by Carl Willis, baked potato, cheese biscuits by Howard Liverman, tossed salad, and red velvet cake by Willie Creef. Leroy Spivey presented a long-stem red rose to each woman in memory of Sue Spivey and Braxton Voliva.
