Mr. Joseph B. “Sonny” Swain, age 93, a former resident of Washington, died Monday, Feb. 25, 2019 at N.C. State Veterans Home in Kinston. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 2, 2019 at the First Christian Church in Washington.

Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Friday, March 1 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory in Washington. Paul Funeral Home & Crematory in Washington is honored to serve the Swain family.
