On March 4 Alex S. Liverman of Columbia (right) was sworn in as a Police Officer with the  Nags Head Police Department. Michelle Gray, Nags Head Deputy Town Clerk, administered the oaths as several members of Liverman’s family looked on. Liverman previously served as a Deputy Sheriff with the Tyrrell County Sheriff’s Office.
