Mrs. Ruth B. Askew, of 1130 N. Pierce St., Washington, died Friday, March 29, 2019, at River Trace Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Washington. A funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, April 6, 2019, at Metropolitan AME Zion Church, 102 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Washington. Burial will follow at Oakdale Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. Friday, April 5, 2019, at Leon Randolph Memorial Chapel, 208 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Washington.
