Pets of the Week: April 13, 2019

Published 6:06 pm Friday, April 12, 2019

The Betsy Bailey Animal Control Facility will be closed April 19–20, in celebration of Easter.

Those interested in adopting a pet should inquire at the Betsy Bailey Nelson Animal Control Facility, 3931 U.S. Highway 264 East, from 1 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturdays. Because of overcrowded conditions, the animals listed are only available as indicated.

All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. To see more animals available for adoption, visit www.petango.com/beaufortcountyNC, visit ENC Shelter Dogs and ENC Shelter Cats on Facebook or call 252-946-4517 for more information. The Humane Society of Beaufort County can also be found on Facebook at www.facebook.com/BeaufortCountyNCHumaneSociety.

Requests for more information with regard to the animals appearing in Pets of the Week may be directed to shelter staff in person at the shelter during business hours or by emailing animal.control@co.beaufort.nc.us — always use the animal’s ID number.

Please note, the shelter is closed on the first Wednesday of each month for cleaning and maintenance.

Marshall

This incredibly handsome boy is already neutered and ready to go home after his reduced fee is paid. Marshall is an extra-large, black Labrador retriever mix, and at approximately 3 years old, he’s good looking and friendly. Marshall will do best with active owner(s) willing to give him their love and attention, take him along on their outings, give him regular exercise, playtime maybe included, in a fenced area or on a leash, basic obedience training and, of course, a good forever home. Come in and meet this fantastic dog named

Marshall, ID No. 0408. He’s available at the shelter.

Mason

This strikingly handsome, large, tabby boy is already neutered — evident by his one clipped ear — and he’s ready to go home, after his reduced fee is paid. At 1 year old, Mason is very loving, and he loves sweet talk, being petted, held, cuddled and showered with attention. He’s smartly dressed in his shorthair coat with colors of champagne and pale apricot stripes; his rosebud nose and amber eyes will melt your heart. Mason will make a wonderful pet and a welcome addition in a good and loving forever home setting. Come meet Mason, ID No. 0411. He’s available at the shelter.
