A line of thunderstorms heading toward the region has the potential bring severe weather to Beaufort County through the night.

Chris Newkirk, chief of fire/emergency management, shared information from the National Weather Service issued Sunday afternoon. According to Newkirk’s email, the storms could produce damaging winds, large hail and isolated tornadoes into early Monday morning.
