Two beautiful rainbows were recently visible over North Pond on Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge. Thousands of visitors come to Pea Island Refuge each year to view birds, walk the birding trails, explore the beach, and enjoy the interesting and well-stocked Visitor Center. If you’re headed south on NC Highway 12, please visit the refuge and enjoy birding, beachcombing and beautiful scenery (although we can’t promise a double rainbow each visit!)
