Leroy Spivey was elected commander of Scuppernong Post 182 of The American Legion on Sept. 9, succeeding Bill Voliva. Rudy Patrick was re-elected post adjutant. Voliva took office 11 years ago after Ray Davenport had led the post for 23 years. From left are Spivey, Voliva, and Patrick.
