From ReLeaf Washington

ReLeaf Washington is excited to announce a donation from Scott Campbell, a REALTOR with Century 21 The Realty Group in Washington.

ReLeaf’s president Heather Thienpont received the donation for the organization.

“We were so pleased to get Scott’s call wanting to contribute to our growing nonprofit. His donation has helped to kick off our citywide membership drive,” Thienpont said. “When you have local business people investing in your organization, it gives you a sense of pride and encouragement that what you are trying to accomplish has value.”

“ReLeaf is a great example of a volunteer driven organization that is contributing to the fabric of our town and area by investing in the future. I was happy to make the donation to this wonderful organization and participate in enhancing the quality of life of our community,” Campbell said.

Through Campbell’s contribution and the current membership drive, our goal is to have a strong upcoming fall/winter planting season at various locations in town.

ReLeaf Washington was founded earlier this spring and is based in Washington. We are modeling our organization after successful tree-planting and preservation efforts in other towns and cities. Our goals are to plant various types of appropriate trees around our beautiful town. We will also partner with the City to make sure what is planted will be mindful of existing infrastructure. We will always try to plant native species when at all possible and arrange maintenance to ensure that what we plant survives and thrives.
