Edward Earl Pinkham

Mr. Edward Earl Pinkham, age 80, a resident of Washington, died Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2019, at his home.
A graveside service was held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 30, 2019, at Pamlico Memorial Gardens, officiated by Pastor Philip Jethro. Pallbearers were Scott Simms, Toby Woolard, Ronnie Woolard, Ted Woolard, Nate Asby and Kenny Parker.
Edward Earl was born in Beaufort County on Aug. 18, 1939, to the late Frazier Thomas Pinkham and Mamie Congleton Pinkham. He worked as a carpenter and retired from Beaufort County maintenance. Mr. Pinkham enjoyed watching game shows, driving to the waterfront.
Survivors include two sons, Joey Pinkham and wife Kathy, of Washington, Troy Pinkham and wife Valinda, also of Washington; two grandchildren, Cody Pinkham, Lee Pinkham; two sisters, Donnie Ruth Pinkham Woolard and Mary Pinkham.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Julia Ann “Judy” Jackson Pinkham; two children, Edward Earl Pinkham, Jr, Melissa Pinkham; and four brothers, James Pinkham, Lee Taylor Pinkham, Joseph Pinkham and Frazier T. Pinkham, Jr.
The family received friends Sunday, Dec. 29, 2019, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory.
The family extends a special thank you to the staff at Pamlico Dialysis and Dr. Carney Taylor, Jr. for going above and beyond in their care for Mr. Pinkham.
