Gertrude Dawson Mewborn, 90, of 1528 Cobblestone Drive, Kinston, died Saturday, Jan. 4, 2020, at her residence. A funeral service will be held at noon Thursday, Jan. 9, 2020, in the Memorial Chapel of Trinity Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Mills Memorial Garden. Public viewing will be held Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2020, at the funeral home and will resume one hour prior to the service.
