James “Jimmy” Cox, 72, a resident of 12 Tranquility Lane, Blounts Creek, died Friday, Jan. 10, 2020, at Vidant Beaufort Hospital. A funeral service was held Monday, Jan. 13, 2020, at Gorham Swamp Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church in Chocowinity, officiated by Pastor Jerry Smith. Arrangements are by Joseph B. Paul Jr. Funeral Director Licensee.
