Margaret Basnight Tarkington, 84, of Creswell, died Saturday, Feb. 1, 2020, surrounded by her family in Orlando, Florida, after a brief illness. A funeral service will be held Saturday, Feb. 8, 2020, at 3 p.m. at Mount Tabor Free Will Baptist Church, Creswell, with Reverends David Young, Edwin Hill and Keith Pelletier officiating. Family will receive friends on Saturday at the church following the service and other times at the residence of her daughter, Shirley Pelletier. Arrangements are by Maitland Funeral Home, Creswell.
