Three members of the Columbia Lions Club were recognized for length of service at their meeting earlier this week. Pictured, left to right, are Lion Anita Spencer, 20 years;  Zone Chair Michelle Wright from Manteo who presented the awards, Club President Jack Donoghue, Lion Charles Cohoon, 45 years and Lion Hubert Spencer, 50 years. Spencer was also recognized as a Charter Member of the club. The Columbia Lions Club meets each 2nd and 4th Tuesday at 6:PM, at the Columbia Crossing Restaurant on Scuppernong Drive.
