Mrs. Phyllis Jean Smith, 77, of 216 Overlook Ave., Durham, died Sunday, Aug. 2, 2020, at The Hock Family Pavilion, Durham. A funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, 2020, at L.R. Memorial Chapel, 208 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Washington. Burial will follow at the Smith family cemetery in Blounts Creek. Visitation will be prior to the service Saturday, from noon to 2 p.m. at L.R. Memorial Chapel. Social distancing and wearing face masks is requested by the family. Temperatures will be taken.
