Mr. Shane L. Smallwood, of 5800 Stone Valley Drive, Raleigh, died Monday, Aug. 10, 2020, at Wake Med in Raleigh. A funeral service will be held Sunday, Aug. 16, 2020, at 2 p.m. at the Metropolitan AME Zion Church in Washington. The interment will be at the Cedar Hill Cemetery in Washington. The family will be receiving family and friends at 311 Fleming St., Washington. Arrangements are by New Beginning Funeral Home and Cremation, on 219 N. Bonner St., Washington.
