Mr. James Ernest Smaw, 66, of Gray Road, Chocowinity, died Monday, Sept 7, 2020, at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 13, 2020, at L.R. Memorial Chapel, 208 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Washington. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Washington. Visitation will be held Saturday, Sept. 12, 2020, from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. at L.R. Memorial Chapel. Other times the family will receive friends at the home. All those attending are asked to social distance and wear a face mask. Temperatures will be taken. Arrangements are by Leon Randolph Funeral Home.
