The Columbia Board of Aldermen on September 8 reappointed Tim Nielsen and Janet Walker to the town’s planning board, which also acts as the Historic District Commission. The terms are for three years.
Walker was reappointed as chairman of the planning group.
Other members are Raymond Etheridge, Billie Hill, James McClees, and Barbara J. Spencer. McClees resides outside the corporate limits and represents the town’s one-mile extra-territorial jurisdiction.
Members whose terms expire on June 30, 2021, are Hill and Spencer, and expiring in 2022 are those of Etheridge and McClees.
Rhett White, town manager, serves as planning board clerk.
