Mrs. Shirley Simmons, 72, of 509 Van Norden St., Washington, died Saturday, Oct. 10, 2020, at Tower Nursing Rehabilitation & Nursing Center of Raleigh. Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16, 2020, at L.R. Memorial Chapel. A funeral service will be held at noon Saturday, Oct. 17, 2020, at Saint John Church of Christ, 2283 St John Church Road, Washington. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are by Leon Randolph Funeral Home, 208 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Washington.
