From Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office

On Oct. 22, investigators with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit arrested Adrian Dixon, 43 years of age, of 1478 Bonnerton Road in Aurora. Dixon was charged with trafficking in heroin, possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a firearm by a felon and possession of a stolen firearm.

Dixon’s arrest stemmed from investigators executing a search warrant on an abandoned residence located at 4556 Bonnerton Road in Aurora. Dixon was using the residence as a stash house to hide and prepare cocaine and heroin for resale.

Investigators and K-9 Bodi found 28 grams of heroin, 20 grams of cocaine, a digital scale and plastic bags used to package cocaine and heroin. Investigators seized $4,000 from a vehicle that Dixon was operating and $972 that was found in Dixon’s pocket.

Dixon was confined in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $750,000 secured bond.

Dixon is currently on federal probation for drug and firearm offenses.
