Mr. Robert Donald “Bobby” Clark, age 79, a resident of Chocowinity, passed away Monday December 7, 2020 at Vidant Medical Center.

Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Friday December 18, 2020 at Oakdale Cemetery and will be conducted by Kent Gurganus.

Bobby was born in Beaufort County, December 11, 1940, the only child of the late Walter D. and Ethel P. Clark. He graduated from Chocowinity High School with the class of 1959. He later furthered his education at King’s Business College in Raleigh, NC, earning a diploma in Business Administration in May of 1964. Following graduation from King’s, he worked in the office at King’s and later returned home to work for Texagulf/PCS Phosphate now Nutria. He was employed in several different positions there and retired in 2001 after 33 years of employment. He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by a very special godson whom he loved dearly, Colson James Mitchell and a number of cousins.
