Bonner “Rocky” Modlin, 81, of Wesley Chapel, FL, peacefully passed away Thursday, February 11, 2021 at home with his family by his side.  He was born in Washington, North Carolina.  He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He was a forklift truck business owner in the Kentucky area.  He spent his retirement in Saddlebrook, in FL, golfing and enjoying the company of his many friends in that amazing community. He spent much of his time tinkering on his cars which was a lifelong passion.  He enjoyed driving to see many sights and his family in North Carolina.  He leaves behind his daughters Donna Hill, Susan (and Martin) Cote, and Lynn Modlin and his son Jason Modlin; Grandchildren – Rachel (and Allen) Keene, Jeremiah Hill, Courtney Modlin, and Sophia Cote; and his family members from the Modlin, Sutton, Ryals and Cox families in the North Carolina area. A memorial service will not be held at this time.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association at 800-AHA-USA1.
