Thomas Stevenson Harris, born January 27, 1943, a resident of Washington, NC passed away peacefully March 15, 2021 at Vidant Medical Center, Greenville, NC.

A memorial service will be held 10:00 AM Saturday March 20, 2021 in the Chapel of Paul Funeral Home & Crematory.

Steve retired from Grady-White Boats but also worked for Fountain Powerboats, Hamilton Beach, and National Spinning. He also drove a fertilizer truck for his father and farmed for many years. Steve never met a stranger and will be missed by many.

He is survived by his wife Karen, a daughter, Stephanie Smith and husband Mike, a son, Michael Harris and wife Melinda, Stepchildren Laura Mayo and Monica Munoz. Grandchildren, Brittany Smith Toler and husband Brent, Morgan Rosado and husband Michael, and Sabrina Smith. Step grandchildren, Michael Mayo, Dylan Mayo, Danielle Mayo and fiance Justin Adams, Christina Bland, Brianna Cooper, Celia Munoz. There are also several beautiful great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his father, T.C. Harris and his mother Sybil Harris.
