Mr. Spencer Gibbs passed away at his home in Raleigh, NC on Wednesday, March 24, 2021.  Spencer was loved and cherished by many people in his life, and touched the lives of others in a variety of ways that will long outlive his time on earth.

Spencer is survived by his loving parents: Milo and Joan Gibbs, of Wilson, NC; by his favorite sister, Leslie Gibbs Van Der Have, of Greenville, NC; by his nephews whom he admired greatly: Bruin and Rance Fritscher; and by numerous extended family and friends.

The family is receiving friends at the home of Milo and Joan Gibbs. Funeral Services, and a Celebration of Spencer’s life, officiated by Pastor Greg Templin,  will be held outdoors at Ephesus Baptist Church (6767 Hillsborough Street in Raleigh, NC) on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at 11:00  a.m.  A recording of the service will be posted afterwards for those unable to attend. A private family service for interment will occur at a later date. 

The family asks you to consider memorial donations in lieu of flowers to Mental Health Association, 509 Nash Street, Wilson, North Carolina 27893.
