Cornelia Elizabeth “Beth” Martin Boyd, age 58, a resident of Washington, NC went home to her Lord on Sunday March 28, 2021.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Friday April 2, 2021 at Alligood Church of God and will be officiated by Pastor Gary Bateman. Burial will follow in the Tetterton Family Cemetery. Pallbearers include John Smith, James Kidwell, Mike Mizelle, Jason Martin, Wayne Martin and Danny Boyd.

Mrs. Boyd was born in Beaufort County, NC on March 24, 1963 to Darrell Wayne Martin and Ann Elizabeth Tetterton Martin. She enjoyed crafting, working with plants and she absolutely adored her grandchildren.

Survivors include her two children, Jason Martin of Washington, Danielle Kidwell and her husband James of Washington; two grandchildren, Dallas Gene Woolard, Nicholas Alexander Kidwell; a grandchild on the way, Conner James Kidwell; a brother, Wayne Martin; a sister, Deborah Smith and her husband John; her mother, Ann T. Martin; many nieces and nephews, and her significant other, Mike Mizelle.

She is preceded in death by her father, Darrell Wayne Martin, and a brother, John Oliver Martin.

The family will receive friends Friday April 2, 2021 from 10:00 AM until the funeral hour at Alligood Church of God.
