The North Carolina Department of Information Technology’s Broadband Infrastructure Office is encouraging all North Carolinians to complete a survey that will help the agency improve internet access around the state.

The North Carolina Broadband Survey takes about five minutes to complete, and it can be filled out on a computer or mobile device. More information about the survey can be found here.  Early results can be viewed here.

The survey results will help the Broadband Infrastructure Office identify locations across the state where internet access and broadband speeds are inadequate. BIO will use data from the survey to direct funding and grants to unserved and underserved areas.
