The Pungo Christian Academy boys golf team finished fourth and senior Caeden Lyons tied for third in the NCISAA state meet Monday at the Bryan Park Players Course in Greensboro. Crossroads Christian of Henderson won the team title. Lyons shot 79 while Sam Warren (97) and Davis Lee (99) completed the Raiders team scoring. Gavin Sawyer (102) also competed.

Meanwhile senior Caleb Alligood represented Northside in the NCHSAA 1A meet at the Foxfire Resort & Golf Club’s red course near Pinehurst Monday.

Alligood made a par putt on the second playoff hole in last week’s regional meet to qualify and tied for 36^th with a 93. Caleb Surratt of Union Academy took medalist honors with a three under par 69, while Community School of Davidson needed a one hole playoff to defeat East Surry for the team title.
