Tillman G. Boyd, age 82, of Ringgold, VA passed away on Tuesday, July 13. 2021.

He was the son of the late Charlie R. and Leona D. Boyd, of Washington, NC.

Mr. Boyd is survived by his wife, Jean Oakes Boyd; children: Christopher Boyd (Carianna), of Bath, NC; Cheryl B. Thompson (Devin), of Grimestand, NC; step-children, Wanda Cobbs (Nigel), of Seminole, Fla; and Jason Smith, of Ringgold, VA; grandchildren, Christopher and Rebecca Boyd and Morgan and Kendall Thompson; step-grandchildren, Valerie Pickle and Sarah Smith; brothers, Glenn T. Boyd (Carolyn), of Ft. Mill, SC and Bobby R. Boyd (Brenda), of North Myrtle Beach, SC.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Boyd is predeceased by his sister Barbara B. Gibbs, of Washington, NC.

A visitation with the family will be held on Sunday, July 25, 2021, from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Barker Funeral Home located at 2025 North Main Street, Danville, VA 24540.
