The Pam Pack doubles duo of Katherine Pollock and Olivia Paszt lost in the opening round of the 2A individual state tennis tournament Friday in Holly Springs.

Pollock/Paszt finished second in the East regional to earn a spot in the state playoffs, then waited out a morning rain delay, but fell 7-6, 6-3 to a pair from Raleigh Charter.
