Albert Lee Ross, age 94, a resident of Bath, NC died Wednesday December 29, 2021 at his home.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday January 2, 2022 at Yeatesville Cemetery in Pinetown.

Mr. Ross was born in Beaufort County on October 8, 1927 to the late Ebor Preston Ross and Lula Mae Burbage Ross. He was a member of the United States Navy during World War II. On June 5, 1949 he married Mina Potter who preceded him in death on November 13, 2010. Mr. Ross worked as a brakeman for the railroad and retired in October 1987. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Norfolk, VA and Sidney Free Will Baptist Church in Belhaven. Mr. Ross loved to fish, enjoyed walking the neighborhood and enjoyed a good meal.

Survivors include his daughter Vivian R. Stotesberry and husband Gilbert of Bath, a son, Malcolm Lee Ross of Norfolk, a grandson, John Curtis Clifton and a brother Bobby Ross.

He is preceded in death by his siblings.

The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.
