The Washington High School cheer team placed second in the D2 Medium Division at the state cheerleading championships at the Raleigh Convention Center. The Pam Pack won the Eastern Plains Conference competition held at North Pitt High School in October. WHS coaches are Brandi Barrow, Brianna Genello and AmiJo Frazier.
