Merrill G. Woolard, age, 80, a native of Washington, NC, and now of Greeneville, TN, passed away on January 25, 2022.   He was the son of Ernest and Juanita Clark Woolard, deceased.

Survivors are Brenda J. Cansler, who was his longtime companion, significant other, and longtime love.  A son, Adrian C. Woolard of Mosheim, TN, and a daughter Heather L. Woolard and Dr. Jason Chiakowsky of California.  Two grandchildren, Presely J. Chiakowsky and Greyson C. Chiakowsky, both of California.  Other survivors were two sisters, Carolyn L. Norton (Paul) and Phyllis Snelson (Rex) of Greeneville, TN.  Several nieces and nephews.

A sister, Judy K. Woolard preceded him in death.  She was a resident of Greeneville, TN.

No formal service was conducted and he was cremated as requested.
