David Henry Nelson

David Henry Nelson, age 58, of Jasper, North Carolina passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2022.

David was a hard worker, driving trucks for most of his career and currently worked with R.E. Michel Supply in New Bern. He loved sports of all kinds but especially basketball and football, always ready to cheer on his favorite teams, the Minnesota Vikings and N.C. State Wolfpack. Above all, David enjoyed the simple things in life, spending time at his home with his wife and animals.

He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Dana Kim Nelson of Cove City; his mother, Geraldine Nelson of Washington; his brother, Edward Nelson, Jr.  of Washington; his sister, Julie Ingram (Joshua) of Washington; many nieces and nephews; and his beloved fur babies, Dozer, Sheeva, and Rebel. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Nelson, Sr.
