The Beaufort Soil and Water Conservation District is looking for a Beaufort County rising sophomore, junior, or senior (present seniors not eligible) with a strong interest in natural resource conservation to attend the 2022 Resource Conservation Workshop in Raleigh. This year’s workshop will be held June 26 – July 1, 2022, on the campus of North Carolina State University.

The primary objective of the workshop is learning about natural resources and their management in today’s global environment. Not only is the workshop a valuable tool in preparing students to become environmentally conscious citizens, but it also provides the potential for earning scholarship monies.
