Troy Macon Roelofs, age 42, a resident of Washington, NC died Sunday March 6, 2022 at his home.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday March 19, 2022 at Pamlico Memorial Gardens and will be officiated by Billy Ray Askew.

Troy was born in Beaufort County on January 23, 1980 to Ralph Macon Roelofs and Rona “Billie” Bazemore Roelofs. He was a 1998 graduate of Terra Ceia Christian School. Troy attended Beaufort County Community College and studied welding. He worked all over the country doing construction until he began work as a millwright as PCS. Troy loved sports and in his early life, played football, basketball, baseball and soccer. Troy was an avid fan of the Miami Hurricanes, Washington Redskins, and the Boston Red Sox He attended Tranters Creek Church of Christ.

Survivors include his two children, Troy “TJ” Macon Roelofs, Jr., Kasion Roelofs, his parents, Ralph M. Roelofs, Rona “Billie” Roelofs of Pinetown, his sister, Debra Brown and husband Tim of New Bern, a niece Myra Brown and nephew Fred Brown.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday March 18, 2022 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory
