Mr. Ronald Joseph Tincher, age 75, a resident of Bath, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2022.

A memorial service will be held later.

Mr. Tincher was born in Alexandria, VA on January 6, 1947. He was the son of the late Lyle Joseph Tincher and Mary Frances Henderson Tincher. Mr. Tincher was a retired electrical engineer. He worked for Dade County, FL School Systems for over 25 years. Mr. Tincher served in the Naval Reserves. He was a big Harley Davidson fan, owning several motorcycles. Mr. Tincher was a member of Bath Christian Church and enjoyed monthly Bible studies. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, mowing the lawn, reading science fiction books, and adopting homeless dogs and cats.

Mr. Tincher was married to the former Beverly Jean Blackford, who survives.

Surviving with his wife are his children, Stephen Paul Voss of Jacksonville, N.C., Kelly Carlton Voss of Virginia Beach, VA, Robert Joseph Tincher (Holly Christine Tincher) of Augusta, Ga, Natalie Ann Roberts (Harold Dwayne Roberts) of Ocala, FL; eight grandchildren, Stevie Paul Voss, Christian Voss, Haley Jordan Voss, Liam Kelly Voss, Lauren Ashley Tincher, Channing CelesteFlannigan, Alexandra Ellis (Mark), Adam DuRant; sister, Patricia Windham (Mike) and brother, George Tincher (Brenda).
