In the early morning hours on Sunday, April 10, Margaret Louise Van Dorp, 77, passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus in the home of her son, surrounded by loved ones.

Margaret is survived by brothers; Dick, Bill, and Albert Van Dorp and sisters; Wilhelmina Bouma, Geraldine Sellers, and Frances Van Dorp. Margaret was the mother to four living sons; Stan, Marty, Lee, and Chris Paramore; and to five living grandchildren, Macy Gladson, and Zach, Hannah, Carlee, and Rebekah Paramore.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; Wilhelmina and Hendrick Van Dorp; brothers John, Brownie, and Lee Van Dorp; and grandson, Charles Paramore.

The family will accept friends and loved ones on Thursday, April 14 at Joseph B. Paul Jr. Funeral Home in Washington, NC from 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM. Following the visitation, a service will be led by minister DJ Maxey.
