Mr. Robert Harold Schatz, age 69, a resident of Ridgewood Lane, Washington, died Thursday, April 7, 2022, at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.

No services will be held.

Mr. Schatz was born in Concord, New Hampshire on June 25, 1952. He was the son of the late Harold Frederick Schatz and Nora Vanyo Schatz. Mr. Schatz served in the U.S. Marines. He was a retired welder with Frischkorn and PCS.

Mr. Schatz was married to the former Christina Leigh White, who preceded him in death, February 2, 2019.

Mr. Schatz is survived by his son, Ben Schatz and wife, Maria of the home; brother, James “Jim” Schatz of Ocala, FL; sister-in-law, Barbara Schatz of Washington; niece, Erica Caracoglia and husband, John of Greenville; nephew, Jonathan Schatz and wife Mary Jane of Greenville and several great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, Mr. Schatz was preceded in death by his brother, Mike Schatz.
